How long are the workshops?
We offer a variety of options from half day, 1 day and 2 day workshops. There is the ability to add on assessments and additional tools.
Can workshops or coaching be split across multiple locations or time zones?
Yes, we regularly support distributed teams. We’ll work with you on facilitation and scheduling that meets your team’s needs.

Do you offer one on one coaching?
Yes, as part of our coaching programs we offer 1:1 coaching to founders, executives and senior leaders.

Both. We are based in Sydney, Australia and happy to travel or deliver virtually and in-person within Australia and globally.

Are the workshops customisable?
Our workshops follow a proven structure designed for startup and scaleup leadership teams. We have a focused format that delivers the most impact within time constraints while tailoring examples, exercises and discussions to your team’s needs and context.
What happens if our leadership team changes mid-coaching program?
We know leadership teams evolve. We’re nimble and used to the startup waves, so we will work with you to re-scope or adjust if changes occur, with clear pricing updates if needed.

Mostly technology startups and scaleups usually between 10–150 people who are generating up to $10M of ARR and navigating the crunchy inflection point.

What does Vesta DD actually assess?
We assess leadership team cohesion, trust dynamics, conflict styles, accountability behaviours, decision-making clarity, and culture health — all through the lens of scale-readiness.
What’s included in a Vesta DD engagement?
Depends on the engagment path selected, but will include interviews with founders and key leadership team members, diagnostic tools based on The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, thematic analysis, and with our Firepower Insights, a clear summary of risks, strengths, and post-deal recommendations is included.
Do founders participate?
Yes and that’s part of what makes this so effective. The process is founder-trusted, not adversarial. It strengthens trust post-deal, rather than creating tension.
Will we receive a written report?
Yes. Both engagement paths, Ember Check and the Firepower Insight, you’ll receive reports.
With the Firepower Insight you will receive clear, actionable insights summary with themes, risk flags (if any), team strengths, and suggested focus areas post-deal.
Are the Vesta DD outcomes ever shared with founders?
That depends on your preference. Most investors choose to share a high-level version or key themes with the founder to support post-deal alignment. We can tailor reporting accordingly.
What’s your confidentiality process during Vesta DD interviews?
Every participant is informed that their feedback will be anonymised and thematically summarised. We prioritise psychological safety and build trust throughout the process.
Why should we include leadership due diligence in our process?
Because leadership alignment is one of the biggest predictors of scale success and one of the most overlooked risks. Vesta DD gives you the people insight behind the pitch deck.
How long does it take?
Typically 2–4 weeks, depending on team size and availability. We know time is money and timelines cope is common practice with DD, but that's not how we like to operate.
Do you assess individual leadership capabilities in Vesta DD?
Yes — in the Firepower Insight path, we assess the capabilities of core leaders alongside how the team operates collectively. Our focus is on team cohesion, alignment, and scale-readiness, but we also spotlight key individual strengths and risks to inform post-deal support and planning.
Type of companies you work with?
Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) firms acros Australia, APAC, Canada and the US.
Do you work internationally?
Yes, we work with clients across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and select APAC regions. Delivery is virtual unless otherwise arranged.
Do you offer post-deal support for leadership development?
Yes, our workshops and coaching programs are designed to support post-investment lift.
Many investors refer us in to accelerate team alignment and achieve scale-readiness.
How is this different from a culture survey or reference checks?
Vesta DD focuses on how the leadership team actually functions together in decision-making, accountability, and conflict. We use founder-trusted frameworks, not generic surveys or secondhand opinions.
Is this done pre-term sheet or after?
It’s flexible, but ideally conducted between the early due diligence stage and final subscription agreement. We can tailor delivery to your deal timeline.

Both. We are based in Sydney, Australia and happy to travel or deliver virtually and in-person within Australia and globally.
Can I add individual psychometric assessments like MBTI?
Yes. You can opt to include Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments in either the Ember Check or Firepower Insight engagements. These are add ons, delivered individually and shared directly with the investor (not anonymised).
Can you run Vesta DD pre-term sheet if access is limited?
Yes, we can run an Ember Check with the cooperation of the founder and leadership team.
Is this service confidential?
Absolutely. All Vesta DD engagements are covered by mutual confidentiality agreements.
We want to spend time on moving the needle, not admin.

What payment terms and methods do you accept?
We issue clients invoices with strict 7 day payment terms and accept credit card or bank transfer. All prices are in AUD.
Can the workshop fee be discounted if we start a coaching program?
Yes. If you move forward with coaching, your workshop fee will be discounted on your first invoice.
Will we recieve a tax invoice?
Yes, we’ll send a formal tax invoice after booking, with all necessary details.
Vesta DD - can this be paid through the fund or does it need to be billed to the portfolio company?
That’s up to you. We can invoice either the investor or the portfolio company depending on how you’d like to structure it. This will be agreed upfront in our services agreement.
When do you bill for the coaching program?
We bill on a quarterly basis and issue invoices before the quarter starts. Those who start mid quarter will be issued a pro-rata invoice.
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy for Workshops or Coaching sessions?
We know things move fast. You can reschedule a workshop with at least 5 business days’ notice. You can reschedule a scheduled coaching call with 24 hours' notice.
Late reschedules or cancellations may incur a fee — full details are in our T&Cs.
Is there a cancellation policy for Vesta DD?
Yes. If the engagement is cancelled within 5 business days of the agreed start date, 50% of the total fee is payable.
Once the engagement has commenced, the full fee is due regardless of completion.
Do you provide a formal agreement or engagement letter?
Yes, all engagements at The Vesta Club are covered by a simple services agreement that outlines scope, deliverables, confidentiality, and payment terms.
When do you bill for a workshop?
We bill 50% of the workshop upon scheduling the workshop and this needs to be paid before the delivery of the workshop. The remaining portion of the workshop bill will be issued upon completion of the workshop and discussions of follow up coaching programs.
For Vesta DD, do you charge a flat fee or hourly rate?
Vesta DD is charged as a flat fee based on inital agreed upon scope and team size — no hourly billing, no surprise add-ons. You’ll know exactly what you're paying before we begin.
What do you mean by a “flat fee” for a coaching program?
We charge a set quarterly fee based on the number of leaders involved. This includes one session per month, resources, and on demand support — no hourly billing, no surprises.
Are taxes (GST) included?
All pricing is quoted in AUD and exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
